And not a person with immovable hair in sight. Seems to work pretty well for a couple of teams down south...... I'm not a huge fan of arena football, but I admit I only went to one game. I'm wondering if I need to be a little more supportive of the Renegades...if for no other reason than to show anyone else out there wondering if Lubbock could support both - that indeed we could. Nice to have Fred back in town too! If anyone could pull that off, it would be him.

Speaking of which, I ran into Fio a couple weeks back in KK's of all places. He was running in as I was running out so we didn't have much time, but it was great to see him. Reminded me of how much I miss my hockey buddies.

The city needs to see support of one when the other makes a comeback nice crowds at the football games will be a good selling point when the time comes

I will say it is funny how people who I hadn't seen all hockey season seemed to come to life and remember where the City Bank Auditorium was. Nevertheless. I will say the Production Value of the game was good nice opening, video ops, and game operations. I was surprised to see the dance crew but I understand that people like that in football, but not so much in hockey. This was my first time at an arena game and it was an experience. I thought for sure a couple of the players broke bones while diving for a ball into the wall or worse over it. I could only check out the first two quarters due to a prior engagement but if the crowds continue to pour in like they did tonight, it would be interesting to see if fans would support a non football sport as well.
